Wizards Does It Again

Congratulation to Eme, Annie, Emily, Avery and Keira (U12's) and Peri (U18 Bolts) who successfully made the State of Illinois  Olympic Development Squad (ODP squad)

Since 2014, Wizard FC have helped coach around 10+ players, both girls and boys players make such high-level squads who bring together the best players within the State. We are massively proud of this achievement, Head Coach of the U12's girls team, Dan Fearnhead said "I am super proud of the girls. The club has a rich history of coaching so many players to this level. We should be very proud of this achievement"

Director of Coaching, Dean Harding commented "This shows what we are doing within the club is working, we are allowing our players in the younger teams to be creative, make mistakes, development over results focus and teach our players a Wizards way of playing soccer that in the long run will make them comfortable on the ball and identifies our players as playing an attractive way of soccer. No other club in our area can claim such success at helping so many players to make these squads. Every coach in the club should be very proud of this achievement and we wish the girls the very best of luck in the coming season in their ODP squads"

Well done girls, we are massively proud of you.

U18 Bolts Girls National Tournament Success

Massive congratulations to our U18 Girls Bolts team who finished runners up in the highly ranked President Day Tournament in Arizona over President Day weekend "2019"

The girls performed super well with the Bolts winning their group without conceding a goal. This tournament is ranked as one of the best tournaments in the US with some of the best teams all across the nation coming together for the weekend. The Bolts lost the final on P.K's after a 1-1 draw in normal play.

Head Coach and Club owner; John Roberts said "The girls played very well in this competition. The girls played and trained very well leading up to this weekend so I knew the girls were in good shape. The girls also had a chance to showcase their talents in front of many college recruiters at this tournament. I am sure the girls give a brilliant account of themselves and raised a few eyebrows with their performances. The girls leave us to go into their high school games schedules in excellent. I am proud of what the girls have achieved this weekend. Big thank you to all the parents that came to the watch, also Coach Dean, Coach Angel and Coach Kim who helped prepare the girls for this weekend"

Well Done Bolts and Congratulations.
